Use of data

RootPilot Academy processes personal data to operate cohort programs, community forums, and support mailboxes hosted primarily in the Republic of Korea. Processing is limited to what is needed to schedule sessions, verify enrollments, and respond to requests you initiate. We do not sell personal data. Where subprocessors assist with email delivery or ticketing, they are bound by written agreements and may only process data under documented instructions.

Contact

The data controller is RootPilot Academy. For privacy requests, email welcome@coreboost.one with the subject line “Privacy request” and include enough detail for us to verify your identity without oversharing sensitive identifiers in the initial message. We respond within a reasonable period consistent with Korean personal information protection standards and will ask follow-up questions only when necessary to protect your account.

Third parties

We rely on a small set of infrastructure vendors for DNS, encrypted backups, and transactional email. Each vendor category is reviewed for locality, encryption in transit, and access logging. Community integrations such as chat bridges are optional. If you connect external tools, their policies apply in addition to ours.

Scope

This statement covers visitors to coreboost.one, enrolled learners, corporate coordinators, and forum members. It does not cover third-party sites linked for attribution or reading lists. If you participate in a corporate procurement, your employer may impose additional documentation. Those documents do not replace this baseline statement unless explicitly signed.

Retention

Account records are retained while your relationship is active and for a limited cooling-off period afterward to handle disputes or incomplete billing reconciliation references. Forum posts may remain visible under your pseudonym unless removal is legally required; metadata may persist in backups until rotation completes.

Data collected

We collect identifiers you provide (name, email, organization), technical metadata (IP address, user agent), and coursework artifacts you upload voluntarily. Payment references may appear on invoices managed offline; we do not store full card numbers on this domain.

Rights

Depending on your residency, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain processing. We will explain any limitations imposed by law or legitimate operational needs. If we cannot fulfill a deletion request immediately, for example because of an open billing dispute reference, we will document the reason and the expected timeline.
